Senior Meals Delivered Close To Home

Davians is proud to be a top supplier of food for the Senior Meals Program. For over 20 years, we have been committed to serving over 1,200 seniors daily in Milwaukee County, with both hot and cold meals delivered to a convenient pick-up location for them. Using our fleet of delivery trucks and friendly staff, senior meals are transported carefully to assure that everything shows up just as it left our culinary center.

Senior Meals Nutrition

We at Davians know how important adequate nutrition is for seniors’ mental and physical health as well as energy levels and we are committed to supporting our community seniors by providing what they need. Davians provides an on-staff dietitian who monitors all of our senior meals recipes. These efforts are supported by Computrition, a hospital patient based software which analyzes and maintains our database of recipes and helps to track nutrition. While promoting independent living by helping to supply food, Davians strives to be an active member in our community.

Dietary Restrictions

Davians utilizes multiple methods and tools to assure menu accuracy, including a program that automatically provides a person’s specific meal restrictions with specialized labeling. These special diets and therapeutic menus are determined and set forth by the needs of the senior population and include the following types of therapeutic diets: texture modified foods, modified fluid consistencies and nutritional supplements. Therapeutic and texture modified menus follow the master menu as closely as possible to provide similar choice, variety and palatability.

The food was amazing and all of our guests were very happy with everything and they loved the late night nacho bar. Davians even has a beautiful bridal suite for the bridal party to get ready in. Davians was so easy to work with. The wedding coordinator was very knowledgeable and informed on everything that was happening. We had dropped off our decorations the day before and they set them up perfectly. The food was AMAZING and they worked with my DJ to nail down times to keep the event rolling. My non-profit has used Davians Catering on two different occasions each for week long community trainings for lunch. Their menu provided many options to choose from which included a variety of food options in which we could customize. If there was something we wanted to change due to diet, they were able to accommodate. The staff were always on time and set up professionally and quietly since our food was being served in the same room as the training. Lastly, their staff was easy to get a hold of, responded promptly, and communicated well. We will definitely be using them again in the future! Highly recommend!
